Vincent Vega
My right turn signal hasa broken lense. It is the amber lense inside the clear plastic outer lense. The bulb itself is white halogen so that side looks white while the other lights are amber. Does anyone have any ideas on how to 'color' this bulb amber? It is halogen so it will get very hot. Guest MacGyver
Do a search on the word "globe" on this forum. Postings were made in 2001. There was also an later thread on making a new globe. I made new globes for my Reatta.
Vincent Vega
I did the search. Tom had the solution and a link, The link does not work. How did you create the globe?
Guest kennyw
don't you just love it when some says to use an amber marker bulb for the white halogen bulb that the Reatta's use for the turn signal. Guess they never have been there.......The amber tube is the only glass in the whole assembly. You can only get it as an assemble for just under $300. Someone did have a fix like the other post said. Also someone was selling a replacement home made part to fix the broken glass.......... a few talked about painting the bulb.....ken
Guest
Kenny, Since I've never "been there", I did misunderstand the question; glad you have been so you could offer real solution.curt
