C Carl
At $400, this cover probably has some ability to breathe, while also being somewhat waterproof. In this case there will be very specific cleaning needs. Failure to follow these will destroy the delicate balance, and make the fabric much less waterproof. Unless someone here is 100% familiar with the exact cleaning procedure for this fabric, you MUST contact the company. - Carl

54vicky
if someone cut a hole in it then it is not anywhere near worth 400$ maybe 100$ now.try dove what have you got to lose?
C Carl
Yeah, I don't know where or how significant that hole is, or what area and location the grease is on. Don't know what you want to do with it. Dont know if you still need some water repellent capability. The safe washing position is a pure soap e.g. Ivory Snow. Rinse several times. If you don't mind sacrificing the waterproof capabilities, you will not need to stick to a pure soap. I owned a company which produced the worlds first consumer GoreTex* product. To work properly, it had to be clean, and washed properly. I can still remember the happy young beautiful mother portrayed on the Ivory Snow box. Some scandal involved the sweet looking model, and she was replaced. I can't remember her name,or the nature of the scandal, but the soap worked very well. - CC *TM
nick8086
They cut a hole for a car antenna. It was free to me... I just want to use it.. I looked at the blog.. This may not work for me. The car does not have any side windows.. I guess I will have to clean it on the daily driver..
Paul Dobbin
Dawn Ultra will clean anything with a petroleum base. I keep a bottle in the shop for spills and mistakes and oops.
