Elvis41
I have some nos to put on my 41 Buick someday, rubber goes bad and cracks with time but those look pretty good, what does the back side look like? Is there any metal or just all rubber?

The 55er
Could the part number possibly be 418918? If so that would fit 1946 and 1947 Oldsmobile 66 and 68 series. A picture of the front edge of the guard might help. Is it straight down or scalloped at the bottom?

I might suggest you post the part numbers that are stamped on each box (or on back of each pebble guard). A magnifying glass will help. GM does not include a date code in its part numbers. (Ford does)

It also fits 1948 Olds, same series. As for p/n "416918" I suspect the "6" is a typo due to box being "hard to read" It should read p/n "418918". p/n 418919 (LH) and 418918 (RH) are for 1946 1947 1948 Oldsmobile series 66 and 68. Ref. Chilton's 38-48 body manual. Usually the parts #'s are marked on the rubber parts to confirm. Edited March 19, 2019 by drwatson add reference.
