larza
This is my granddad's car, but I can't reliably identify it. The closest matches I've found are some Buick and Studebaker models from the late 1920's, but there's always some little detail off.
Guest
It looks like a 1926 Studebaker ER.
keiser31
Looks like about a 1925 Nash Ajax to me....a bit different in the rear quarter window, but close.... Edited March 6, 2019 by keiser31 (see edit history)
Mark Wetherbee
My first thought was Nash but that picture is much closer than I can find so I agree with Keiser. The Studebaker would not have a 4-bolt pattern on the wheels and I think it’s just the different angles that is making the rear window look different. Spinneyhill
Nash shown has two front and rear door hinges, o.p. has three. The o.p. also seems to have a raised bead or swage taking off upwards from the upper body swage behind the rear quarter window that the Nash does not have. I don't think it is a Studebaker either. The door handles are between the body swages, not below.
keiser31
I could not find the exact Model/year car, but a lot of the features are the same on other Nash Ajax cars that I found.
Dave Mellor NJ
The car has a "Kari Keen" trunk where the top.sides and front all open as one with the spare
Spinneyhill
OK, I agree. 1926 Nash Ajax. Three hinge doors, has the same handles, has the bead up behind the rear window. 1927 has a higher crown on the mudguards = fenders.
larza
Thanks, I think you're right. This one seems identical (except for the trunk): Title: Fanny Walls (Mrs. John Patmore Walls) with her 1926 Nash automobile Source: https://archives.victoria.ca/fanny-walls-mrs-john-patmore-walls-with-her-1926-nash-automobile
