Thriller
If all goes according to plan, Oklahoma will be lucky 13...joined in time for 2003. Driving down, if we touch Kansas, I’ll hit the thirtieth state I’ve been to...getting to Concord would add to that total. Of course, I’ve only been to seven out of ten Canadian provinces so far.
dship
Unfortunately, I've only been to four so far as I tend to drive only east of the Mississippi river. I've enjoyed each of them, but the Concord and Allentown meets really stand out for me. I plan to attend the 2020 in Ohio, and I definitely will be attending the 2021 50th in Concord!

Flint meets were just OK, but I will never return to that nasty town. 2
JohnD1956
Only 14 for me. Several of the Flint meets and both Batavia's. Did not drive my car to two of them, Concord #1 and Denver. Enjoyed each for their hospitality and variety. I like to go to new places each time because the 2nd round in the same location seldom pushes the unique button, which is what makes it most enjoyable for me. Took the 56 in '78,'81,'89, &'03. Took the '69 in '05, '08, '11 &'13. Then the '72 to the rest. Missed my car in '12 and '18. Missed it so much so that I won't go to another meet if I can't have my car there. 5

dei
I've only been to four since joining the BCA in 1998. Richmond, Va was my 1st and we drove our 1994 Buick Lesabre but did not register it and made a vacation out of the next week working our way home. The 2nd was Flint, Mi in 2003 and did drive the Special as it was so close to home. The 3rd was 2013 in South Bend, In and drove there and back in one day primarily for the Swap Meet but had time to see cars that were not out on the tours. Great rewards there to bring home but a long day... The 4th was 2017 in Brookfield, Wi which the Special failed me three days before leaving with a bad fuel pump... We went anyway in our Van (blah..) and my wife LOVED the shopping experience next door at the Mall! We are looking forward to 2020 in Strongsville, OH as it is relatively close and should have issues on the Special straightened away to drive up with the top down! How many more? Will see... Loren@65GS.com
We have managed to attend 7 BCA nationals since becoming members in the mid '80s. First one was Flint , MI in '88. Hopefully and God willing we will be able to attend Ok and ones to follow. I think the most memorable was '92 in Overland Park, KS. My father-in-law, my oldest brother and my family all drove our '65 Buicks from MN to KS. All three cars received Senior Gold awards at that meet. Looking forward to many more meets to come, Loren

parkertom
A bit of a newbie here. I joined in 2014. Attended Springfield and Allentown so far as family needs have allowed. Doesn’t look like Oklahoma City will work out this year. I plan to attend Strongville and, being in VA, Concord should be very convenient.
bunchabuix
We've been to THIRTY EIGHT BCA National Meets. Some of the highlights: The first in 1971. Buick's 75th anniversary meet @ Flint in 1978, I was on the Meet committee, hosting Chicagoland Chapter meets in 1980 & 1995. Received Gold New Senior for my 1941 56C in 1997, St Louis; the Buick & GM Centennial in 2003 & 2008, on the Meet Committee for Charlotte, Carolina Chapter, 2012. BCA 50th in Allentown, 2016. We plan to attend OK this year, 2020 in OH, & Charlotte in 2021. Jerry Bodden #1518

Buicknutty
We've been to 11, including this year's, for which plans are set to attend. I still have a matchbook from the '88 show in the glove box. Also, I'm still driving the car I drove to my first, the '77 meet, which is the same car I've driven to all but two of them, (I think) a '56 Roadmaster 2 dr. that I bought in '76. Not sure about next year, but certainly want to bring the '41 Roadmaster to the '21 show. Long drive from here in Ontario, Canada. Here's a shot of it taken only a few miles from the factory where it was built in Oshawa, taken at the McLaughlin estate. Closest was Rochester, MN - Google Maps says that’s a minimum 8.5 hr drive...we didn’t go entirely on Interstates, so it took a chunk longer. I hope everyone who has a National close by every now and again appreciates it.

Well 2021 will be the closest one I've ever been to a meet, even closer than 2012...I mean the showfield is in the same place as 2012 but I moved closer since... I can see the host hotel out my back window now. A whole 3 miles....and the funny thing is I wont even get the "shortest driven award"... Dad has me beat by a half mile. 😂 I get to go down hill all the way so even my non-running Buicks should be able to make it there...I can worry about getting them back later...LOL 1

I was part of the host North Texas Chapter for Oklahoma so I count 10 meets. We are looking forward to Cleveland and Concord and plan on driving the 67 Sportwagon GS400 "Tribute" to both. 3

We brought the 1932 67S in our trailer, enjoyed all the activities including going to the coast and having great seafood. Our family drove to Danvers to meet us and the kids really enjoyed the indoor water activities next to the hotel if I am remembering correctly. We got to spend another week with the family after the meet.
