rdooley79
https://photos.app.goo.gl/k6HW9V54m8y9sRHt5 My Dad is selling his Messerschmitt. He has owned it for a long time and the last he really drove it was in the mid 80's for car tours here in Colorado during the summer. The last time he drove it was about 9 years ago when it was moved to the spot where it's been parked since. He's always kept it in a insulated garage with concrete floor and covered with a sheet. This car is in Northern Colorado where the air is dry. The body looks to be in really good condition to me. The pictures in the photo album should give you a good idea of the condition of the car and if there is anything that you want to see in more detail I can add those pictures to the album. If you have any questions please PM them to me and I can get any details from my dad for you. Please only serious inquiries. Asking $47,
suchan
Cool car. Non-running condition puts a serious dent in the price buyers are willing to offer. If you have access to the car, cleaning it up and getting it running will increase interest in a big way. Good luck.
rdooley79
The car does run. It is clean and shows well in person.
JACK M
I think as for the running comment would be "So, if I was to stop by today with cash would it start and run so that I could drive it home". Doubtful if it hasn't been driven in 9 years. It would indeed be a plus if you could in all honesty answer yes to this. Is it advertised as running, but 9 years ago? Not knocking but for 47K ……..?
