NC1968Riviera 1,494
I think this photo might qualify under the "Haulin' Buicks" tread! This is Buick Switch Engine #818 from Buick City, Flint, Michigan. The image is from a January 1976 Kodachrome slide. It shows this particular Buick Switch Engine locomotive painted to honor the Bicentennial of the USA (1976) and also includes the Buick "Free Spirit" moniker used on some models during the 1975 and 1976 model years. It was also temporarily renumbered "1776". There is an interesting Buick Factory memorial website that includes a history of these locomotives used at Buick City. (is the web author a member of this forum?) View it here. Edited January 28, 2020 by NC1968Riviera (see edit history)

1939_Buick 376
From 2003 The green car is very rusty. Black car is OK. Had some work done on it. Both have engines & drive line A lot of weight for a smallish Toyota truck, but only went ~7 miles Edited April 13, 2020 by 1939_Buick (see edit history)

1937McBuick 77
This picture was taken in the fall of 1986, almost 34 years ago, at the time I didn't realize I bit off more than I could chew! But I'm still chewing and it's getting closer to the finish line. Met some good people in the process.
