gdmn852
Hello Does anyone have a picture or describe how the cloth bowdrill is applied to the side rubber on a 49 Buick Convertible? I can’t seem to find much in the body manuals on this .Thank you . Gary

gdmn852
Thanks ,I have it ordered ,figured it would be troublesome don’t see it on even fully restored cars and probably has deteriorated off on any original cars.Gary
Bhigdog
I used 3M spray adhesive to attach the cloth. Trouble is it quickly dries and becomes a contact adhesive so its difficult to slide the cloth into all the nooks. If you use a heavy coat of spray it soaks the cloth and looks bad. All in all an aggravating job but it can be done. Two years later you will notice the cloth is coming off the weather strip in places. Ignore it.......... bob Edited February 24, 2019 by Bhigdog (see edit history)
