MrEarl 9,457
Helped a friend pull a couple of 53 Studebakers out of a warehouse in Virginia this weekend and discovered this pretty rare ‘79 ? Century Turbo Coupe rusting away. It was actually raining more in the warehouse than it was outside at one point. https://www.hemmings.com/blog/2013/09/02/lost-cars-of-the-1980s-buick-century-turbo-coupe/
JohnD1956 6,119
oh man! Are they giving it away? Might be a cool car with a later 1995 Supercharged 3800 transplant! Edited February 19, 2019 by JohnD1956 (see edit history)
MrEarl 9,457
Move went well until the dually’s fuel pump went out. Swapped it out (in 34* sleet and rain, but still no go. Ended up leaving it in the alley for a local shop to pick up and and bringing the one on my trailer home, 7 hours nighttime rain. Learned this morning the new pump was bad. I suggested he get a bus ticket back up😁

Brian_Heil 1,531
BCA member Tom Halka still owns this 1979. He ordered it and bought it new when we both hired into Buick Engineering. He watched it go down the line.
Mark Simmons 139
My younger son had the Oldsmobile version of this Buick. It was a great ride for quite awhile until it coughed up the trans. He bought a 2nd trans and we installed it only to find out it was as bad as the one he had. He got rid of the car and I can't remember where it went or to whom.

Looks like a Lotus Europa to me. One of my favorite cars, but I can't fit inside one. Heck, at 6' 5" I barely fit in my '54 Roadie (top down helps though)! Scott
MrEarl 9,457
It is a ‘73 Lotus. The building is full of other collectibles such as a 57 Chevrolet, a Dodge Charger, a couple Firebirds, a couple under cover that I didn’t even look at. And this

Thriller 1,233
Skyhawk at minimum, possibly a Roadhawk. Cool. They are neat little cars and not seen very often any more. I’m doing what I can to change that.

Pretty sure I saw a bow tie, so didn't give it any more attention, so maybe a Chevy Monza?
