Fully_Loaded
I just acquired a 1939 1.5 ton Chevy. Overall it is in good shape but I have one area that needs attention. The cab seam, on the back of the cab, is rotted out. It is the raised seam that passes just under the back window. Are there any companys that make a replacement seam that can be welded in or is it going to have to be custom made. I can do just about anything to the truck myself but body work is where I draw the line LOL. The truck is mostly original except for a late model inline 6 and a syncro 4 speed transmission. Heck, it even has bias ply tires still on it. I appreciate all the knowledge I have been gaining from the forum and hope to one day be able to contribute more as I learn about the truck. greenie
Fully Loaded: Please email me at the address shown on my card. I have a panel that includes the entire back of the cab, from above the window- down to the bottom of the seam. I can send you pictures to help determining if it would help you.
