Crazyfamily
I saw on another thread that @ k green shared the color chips for the 1940 model year Buick’s. Wondering if anyone has them for the 1927 Buick model year? photo for reference from k green’s post....
Hubert_25-25
First determine the factory color(s) that applied to your car. Then you can work on that color. What color are you looking for? Consider also removing the data plate on the fire wall to see if the original color is behind it. It was on my car. It was also behind the steering column dash bracket. The replacement colors suggested were also not a very good match. A color gun was used and that gave good results. I also received a modern code for the paint from another forum member. The biggest problem is that the paints and formulations change over time, and even if you have a code from the 1980's, they likely don't make that paint anymore.
