When I got the front seat out and turned it on its end....I heard what sounded like trickling. You know those rain sticks with that stuff inside that runs from end to end to give it that sound? It was a lot like that. Wasn't until I saw...... When I towed that car home from a small northern town a year and a half ago, I found a mouse nest in the duct work for the underseat heater, he had chewed up the underside of the back seat for bedding (luckily no exterior damage) and I also brought home a nest of ants who had been hoarding seeds. Grizz Posted February 4, 2019 Share Posted February 4, 2019 At the old shop we got a 67 corvette convertible from this guy. We had to move a bunch of junk and pry it out of his basement. According to him all it needed to start was gas. (Yeah right) we started tearing the motor down. I pulled the intake off and got the same “rain stick” sound.
