PWD 2019 National Meet Information

The BCA’s biggest party of the year occurs at our National Meets. The 2019 meet is tailor-made for prewar Buick enthusiasts. Pete Phillips and the 2019 National Meet Committee have organized two driving tours that offer outstanding opportunities for driving your prewar Buick with a large group of friends. The PWD’s four-day party plan looks like this:

Weds, June 12, 9:00 AM: a shake-down cruise to Guthrie, Oklahoma, the old State Capitol.

Thurs, June 13, 4:30 PM: a PWD “Meet and Greet” at the host hotel.

Fri, June 14, 9:00 AM: a drive along Route 66 with a hundred other Buicks of all ages.

Sat, June 15, 9:00 AM: a tire-kickin’ car show at the host hotel.

The PWD invites you to join us for 4 days of fun in Oklahoma. Bring your prewar Buick or catch a ride in someone else’s. America’s oldest Buicks will be driving America’s oldest highways. Buick touring doesn’t get any better than that.

A bookkeeping detail we must also accomplish is a comprehensive update of our PWD Membership Roster. We are asking new members to join us and old members to update their PWD information by writing us at

Include your name, BCA Membership Number, home address, phone number, and a short list of your prewar Buicks.

There have been some questions about the PWD 2.0 Roster update as published in the January 2019 Bugle.  If you desire, you are welcome to copy me when you send your updated or request-to-join information in to this address.  A reminder, you must be an active (paid up) BCA Member to be an active voting member of the PWD and we need your information for any PWD election(s) in the future.  And the good news is still good, the PWD is right here and free!

 

As most of you know, the BCA Office and our BCA PWD data base is moving to a new company at the end of January.  We don't want to lose any PWDrs in the transfer.  Please help us by sending in your information.
