STEVE POLLARD
I'm in the process of restoring my '69 Impala SS 427. Since acquiring the car, I've been using a "fogging oil' spray - I remove the spark plugs, spray the oil then manually turn over the engine by hand. I should point out the the engine is non-operational at this time ( carburetor was removed ) Is there anything else that I should be doing to keep the engine properly lubricated or is the fogging oil sufficient ? 46 woodie
You could remove your distributor and install an oil pump drive. It hooks to a hand drill and drives the pump to pre lube the motor before start up. I would think once or twice a month should suffice.
