Help 1930 car?

Recommended Posts

Hey AACA

I found this old photo of a car, and I wondered if you could help me identify it? The picture is taken in Denmark 1930s I think.

Looks like a mid-1920's Chevrolet, but slightly different.  Another GM product maybe?  Or perhaps a European version?

Thanks for the replies!

But what about the hood ornament, its a horse, I don't know if that has to do with something?

Side panels for the hood do not look right for a Chevrolet, along with a lot of other details.

1931 Hanomag. The horse radiator mascot is correct for this car.

Wow, looking at this photo of four happy adults in that time period in Denmark...makes me think about what their lives may have been like in just a few short years. At the approximate time of this photo, Hitler was on his way to supreme power in nearby Germany, and shortly thereafter had Denmark in his sights.

I cannot help but think of this, whenever I see photos of normal, happy life in Europe during the 1930's. May God rest so many millions of souls from that period in history...
