trimacar
I know this is a huge long shot, but one never knows. I need one yard of LeBaron Bonney 2-LM taupe wool broadcloth to repair a slight bit of damage to a seat. Anyone have some laying around? LeBaron Bonney has none, and they tell me the factory that made it is now closed. A couple of lessons to learn here, order a couple of extra yards of any upholstery material (I thought I did but ended up using it all), and if you have a project within the next couple of years you might consider buying and correctly storing material now. I hope this is not an indication that many of the fine materials we use in our cars won't be available in the future.
hursst
Try SMS fabrics in California. You can google them. They have just about everything.
John_Mereness
Not the best solution, though if all else fails take the panel to a fabric re-weaver - someone who repairs clothing (ie such as men's suits) - you should be able to find at least one in every major city. They will need some excess from behind .... as well to weave back in Edited January 12, 2019 by John_Mereness (see edit history)
