Yes, it was Oakley's car, he sold it to Henry Harper of Lake Forest,Il and my father in law brought it from him in the early 70s. I was a dark purple (eggplant) color then

I recently joined AACA and have a 1919 Hudson 7 passenger Touring that my dad drove in the 1965 Glidden Tour.  I have my Dad's tour booklet that lists the cars on the 1965 tour, and car number 129 is listed as a 1921 Leland Lincoln Touring owned by Oskley Sumpter, Rt. 1, Box 59 A, Ferryville, MD

Does anybody have the tour booklet for 1961- I believe it was in the Poconos (PA)?  I'm set to return my '14 Simplex to the Glidden tour this year and it was owned/driven by Mahlon Patton in the 1961 Glidden.
