nearchoclatetown
There are about 3400 pictures from Budd manufacturing posted on the DBC website. They are listed in the garage section under DB production photos. The pictures had been bought by John Parsons a few years ago before he died and are now part of the John Parsons collection, owned by the Dodge Brothers Club and stored at AACA library. There was a ledger with descriptions of some of the pictures which I copied on the back. I scanned the back after the front photo. Most are dated. Have fun looking at them. I find something new every time I look at them and I have lots of questions.
30DodgePanel
I can almost hear the sounds and smell the smells. Incredible. I was born in the wrong era... Thanks to everyone that helped make them available to the public, that's a lot of work. Spinneyhill
Wow. Thank you. Wonderful images. I imagine they are on glass plate negatives. Beautifully exposed by real professional photographer(s).
nearchoclatetown
They MAY be glass plate negatives. The pictures I scanned were on cloth backed photo paper. You can see the cloth on the backs with descriptions. Clarity is impressive, definately not done with a POS cell phone.
HBergh
I was unable to locate this collection of pictures at the AACA Library. Under what heading/link are they stored? Thanks
nearchoclatetown
Howard, they are not listed on AACA library site. They are on the DBC website, down the left list to " garage" as "DB production photos." Pretty sure I remember a DA four passenger coupe in there. MikeC5
There are some outstanding shots in there and I only went through a small fraction of them so far.
