m-mman 68 Posted December 24, 2018 In 1952 the bumper guards were an option although commonly installed. Unless they are removed, it generally denotes a bottom line 'Custom" series and not the higher 'Monterey'. FoMoCo was working with using integral bumper/grilles during this era.
