Buick Dynalite
I believe I have a large file of original blue prints, hand drawings, correspondence from the inventor and the Buick Motor Division, marketing material proofs, and marketing materials for the Buick Dynalite for Dynaflow Drive Indicator. All of this I believe came from the estate of Mr. And Mrs. Ed Sullivan The Dynalite Co. Des Moines 9, Iowa. I can not find anything about this accessory or this company. It was marketed in the 1952. Any info? Thanks
Joseph P. Indusi
This was a Buick factory authorized accessory in the 1950’s. The shift quadrant on these early Dynaflow equipped cars was not illuminated so when driving at night this accessory, consisting of a bulb, socket, wire and a mounting fixture could be installed to provide illumination. I have one on my 53 Special hardtop. I think these are quite rare. Joe, BCA 33493.
Buick Dynalite
Yes thank you. I think it is rare. It is just strange that this company has no record on the internet. I have so much of the original company’s documents.
