Barrett Brake Dokter Model B120

 

The BIG one, will cut up to 24" diameter, 8" wide, on spindles to 5 1/4" diameter. Complete, including can of (dried) contact cement for sanding discs.

 

The only way to make sure your shoes are round and square to the axle and drum, for full contact from the start,  by mounting on the axle or appropriate adapter.  Comes in its' large metal case, 15 1/2" x 16 1/2" x 34". All instructions were mounted on the inside of the lid by the factory, so they wouldn't get lost. Added bonus if you want: a trolley for using a Barrett drum lathe to cut drums on the wheel if you're extra brave (see picture below).

 

I bought this a number of years ago thinking I would use it on my Lancias. In the end I found a smaller model, the same as the one sold here six years ago (https://forums.aaca.org/topic/194188-barrett-brake-dokter-for-sale/). That one may also be for sale at a later date.

 

Have some sanding discs to go with it. One hinge on the box needs to be re-welded.
