w8rontre
I enjoyed working on this beauty but I need room for other projects. I had plenty of fun driving this guy around Cleveland, Ohio Was sitting in a dry garage/barn for 45 years. It Did not run . Continental 11E Engine. I am the 5th owner and have documentation of the vehicle's history. Original Paint, Interior, Window Shades, Artillery Wheels , tires! (replaced tubes) Replaced all slave cylinders and re built Master Cylinder with DOT 3 so Brakes are functional. Re lined Emergency brake. Repaired UX2 (cast zinc) carburettor . Also have spare OX2 (brass version) in case UX2 has problems but so far it runs fine. Machined New Stainless water pump shaft as the original metal shaft grinds the packing. Holds water now. Added electronic ignition and runs smoothly at idle. (original is still there). Engine has sufficient power to climb steep grade at 35 MPH in top gear. 40 MPH is as fast as I like to run it. Added 6 volt fuel pump as mechanical pump is not keeping up ( need some work there) Speedometer works but odometer does not. Gas gauge sending unit not attached tucked away by tank. Should be an easy fix with a new sending unit. Oil pressure and amp meter working. Lights in good working condition. Asking $22,000 and you arrange shipping.
