The text of the ad is always very useful:  It will save

someone some frustration once the short-lived ad expires.

Here it is for some Reo fan:

"1932 REO Royale Convertible: Extremely rare, only 9 of 50 left in existence.

True classic long wheelbase convertible with 358 cu in straight eight, 3 sp,

hydraulic brakes and rumble seat. The car is finished in a beautiful and

correct two-tone green, light and dark. Restored by my father, he put years

of time and effort into getting this car "correct", collecting parts and having

things chromed. However before finishing this project, he came across others

that needed to be rescued! If interested, I can send pictures. $120,000 obo.

Call or text Bill (208-two zero one -5175)."

Curious what others think of the pricing.  Seems to me it needs to be completed for that kind of money and turn key.   I have no knowledge of value on these though.  Just a gut feeling.

When you look at the job he did upholstering the rumble seat makes me wonder how good of a job he did on the rest of the car. No engine compartment shots to judge. It is a desirable rare car but I think the price is high unless it is a 99 pointer.

I noticed that.  You also have to wonder on wiring and everything else how well it's done and how much you will need to redo.  They should have splurged on a little better ad in Hemmings as well.  One black and white photos of a partially completed car probably isn't a good way to garner interest.

Unusual and good looking car but there probably isn't a long line of prospects looking for one,  much less one they have to finish that someone else started for over 100G.  Alot of turnkey open cars available for 100G or less.

I know the seller Bill Barker and he is a stand up guy. Royals Conv coupes are made of unobtainium.  An older restoration sold last year for 275k.   If somebody eants one this is the cheapest you will find.

Bill will find a buyer.
