8 mm spiral core spark plug wires

Recommended Posts

Anyone use these and maybe have part number that will work on a 65 rivi?  Going to try out this extra rivi distributor i had converted to hei. Will have factory gm hei components including small gm hei cap. Will let you all know how it turns out. Thanks for any help with the wires.

Use MSD StreetFire wire and make your own. None of the pre-made kits fit right. The Streetfire is 8mm and you can just barely squeeze them in a stock wire holder.  They are good wire, 0 resistance.  I have tried almost everywire wire out there, these were the best.

I use the Taylor Spiro-Pro universal wires on most of the cars I do. Been VERY HAPPY with them. They come in 90*, 135* & Straight. Depending on where you buy are also reasonably priced.

Tom, I gave up on the Taylors a long time ago.  The boots would come apart often.  The MSD's have been tough and there is no comparison from a resistance standpoint.  Try them, you'll like them.

I may try a set Dave, but I've had NO problems with the Taylor's.

Arnulfo, they DON'T make a ready made set. I ALWAYS use universal & make them up myself.
