Find the Buick

Recommended Posts

I will start this thread to help identify the Buicks when multiple cars are the subject of a photograph. Also when the subject vehicle can't be identified completely as a Buick or when like me, not sure if the car is a Buick or other make. Sorry, after all this years, I confuse a lot of makes. When ID is made, please post the details of the finding.!

Is this a Buick?

You are correct. It's a 1953 Buick Roadmaster Skylark 76X Convertible . . . not a 1953 Buick Roadmaster 76C Convertible.

No portholes and the beltline dip on the door and rear-quarter window sills are the clues.

1948 Super Sedanette,  pale blue.   That's my opinion and I am sticking to it!;)

I would say Sepia color but that was not an original color. I seen some old colored photographs, wonder if someone here can do it. I would try back at home with the MAC however now I’m away from home on a special mission: Hurricane Michael Relief Detail on FL. panhandle. Sorry not an Enclave but a Tahoe.

You sure, J D?  The far right looks more like a Merc to me. I don't recall a Buick with "hooded" headlights.

Ben, you may be right about no Buick with hooded headlights.  But I am certain that is the 56 taillights in the photo.

The wagon at extreme left is definitely a '56 Buick. Look at the "J"-bars at the bumper ends; look at the tail lights; look at the exhaust ports in corners of bumper. I'll even go out on a limb and say it is a '56 Century wagon, due to the dual exhausts. Hardly any Specials had dual exhausts in 1956!

There is a second Blue and White  55 Buick .  Just off the passengers side fender of the Chevy cruising the lot for a parking space.

Sometimes you don't have to go too far from home.

Can you find the the maroon '64 Riviera?

I took this picture yesterday. There seemed to be only one logical place for the old wall insulation. > Additional 9' and 8" doors are going in.

The 1958 Buick is under the "K" on the sign of the KWIK CHE**** in the upper right of the photo.

See any others?
