AZVET
I have never seen the full underside of my 88. I was thinking of going to a mechanic's or oil change facility and asking them to put the car on their lift so I could have a look around. I am willing to pay a fee to do this. I am concerned that I will not be able to do this for a couple of reasons. Most places are super busy. Most places have signs that say "No Customers Allowed Due To Insurance Rules". Any advice or experiences from your past would be welcome.
D-a-n-i-e-l
If you are military or know a military member, most bases have a auto craft shop with lifts that cost a few beers cos to rent for an hour.

DAVES89
What is the issue you want to look at?
Ronnie
I would try a small owner operated muffler shop. Those guys always are looking to make a few extra bucks. They tend to be pretty loose with the rules and would probably allow you to take a look around underneath the car. I doubt they would allow you to do any work on the car while it was on their lift.

Probably check over the exhaust system, see if there is any damage to anything, maybe check out the rubber mounts. This would be much more convenient than jacking up each end and schooching my old, chubby arthritic body underneath.
DAVES89
Go to a mom and pop muffler or alignment shop as was suggested.
Booreatta
contact a local car club a lot of those guys have lifts in their garages and would be more than happy to put your car in the air. Just go to a car show and look for someone with a hot rod
