Jim Rohn
this was something that stood out from the stash of automotive items that were in my childhood home's basement. My dad had a Super 8 34 Packard coupe and a 31 convertible sedan. Not sure if this is for one of them or none ... hence my post here as always, thanks in advance Jim Edited October 23, 2018 by Jim Rohn (see edit history)

30DodgePanel
No idea.. I've looked and looked but no luck... sorry I'm stumped. At least consider this a free nudge to the top for viewing... It beats getting buried by Nicks numerous ridiculous KMART type of threads... I would be shocked if he studied anything for himself. Matt Harwood
Looks a bit like a '50s Ford power assist master cylinder, such as on a 2-seat Thunderbird. It probably isn't Packard, at least not 1934, as it looks to be a hydraulic cylinder.
Jim Rohn
thanks for the input I am pretty sure that if it was a 50's Ford unit, it would have different part numbering and likely wouldn't have the flip top oiler, let alone the numbers as stamped on the fittings but it did look similar to me as well because of the "vent", but the construction / quality / operation dates it 30's (at least in my mind/experience)
Restorer32
Not familiar with '34's but it looks similar to the vacuum clutch control for my '32 900. Notice the saddles where it mounted to the steering column, very similar to the '32.
Restorer32
Ding Ding Ding, we have a winner ! Part # 202430 is a vacuum clutch control valve bracket for 10th thru 14th Series Packards. 1
