Problem with Firefox

I've started having a problem with the forum when using the Firefox browser. Whenever I try to respond to a post or to start a new post, the box where I would enter text is greyed out and I am unable to type anything.  If I try to quote a previous post, the same thing happens, but the quoted text will appear if I submit it. If I then try to edit that post to add text, I again get the greyed out box.   I am typing this using Microsoft Edge, and that works fine, so this appears to be a problem with Firefox only.

You probably have done this already but empty the Firefox browser cache, close Firefox, and then reopen Firefox and try to reply on the Forum.

 

If that does not help, are you using any plug-ins that you have added to Firefox?  It is possible that one of your plug-ins is creating and issue with the forum webpages.

 

Try starting Firefox in safe mode (which will temporarily disable all plug-ins) and then see if you can reply on the form.

I haven't changed anything in Firefox, but there was an upgrade recently. I'm guessing that's the problem.

That makes sense.  With the update to Firefox you may now have a plugin that is not compatible with the Firefox update which could then be impacting the forum website.

Happened to me too. Firefox 63 on Windows 10. Just restart your computer.
