I am very sad to report That Ken and Liz Eberts will not be at Hershey this year with a new poster.  Ken hopes to be back next year and said to let all his friends know him and Liz will miss seeing them.

"Very sad" must mean that he's overcoming some difficulty.

If he were missing Hershey due to a Mediterranean cruise, there would be a different adjective.

 

Ken, I don't know you, but we wish you strength, health, and many years of antique-car enjoyment.

I like the antique architecture that you include in your antique-car artwork.

John, please do not read between the lines.  While Ken has struggled with a serious illness for many years it is not the reason why he was not able to attend this year.  My comment was that "I am very sad" and that is the truth as both Ken and Liz are friends.  I am sad and a legion of their friends will be sad...we will simply miss their warmth and charm and that makes me sad as well.  Another reason to be sad is many of us have collected every fall meet poster since their first one....we will now have a missing year!

Wow, that IS sad news. I will miss Ken this year. Will there be a current poster available for this year's event??

No but Ken is already working towards one for next year.
