Odd loss of icons and the like?

For the last several weeks I've noticed that my alert icons, some of the colored "blocks" by other's names, and untold various check boxes, click tabs and other things have gone to little square blanks. It's rather cumbersome, and I also notice I have to post photos as replies to my own ads vs a continuous topic. The search function also sometimes comes up "no topics found..." when I know the topic exists, which may be linked to what the heck's happening. Love the site, the people, this glitch makes for an annoying experience. I routinely dump my cache's and site stuff to remain in clean operation, and every other regular site I hang out on is operating fine so I'm fairly sure it's not me. What browser and operating systems are you using? I am using Chrome on a Windows 7 machine and have not seen this problem personally.

Chrome on Windows 7 as well.

It has happened to me as well, Firefox 63 on Windows 10. Just restart the browser. Once or twice I have had to restart the computer to fix it.
