Pile of Vintage Parts - Worth Saving from Scrappers?

Recommended Posts

Hello

This pile of stuff has been set out for the scrap collectors about 30 miles from where I'm at.

Is there anything worth saving here?

I see an early block and a real early transmission probably c. 1920, also what looks like a dual quad cross-ram air cleaner.

Any idea what this stuff is?

Does the fridge work?

I see that dual quad air cleaner.

Might be valuable to someone as could the little red wagon..

GEEZ! I hope you snagged that air cleaner! Probably worth it to do the 30 miles each way to go back and get it.

The heads look like they are overhead cam so yes the car parts are definitely worth saving. Even if cracked someone needs them. I would grab all the auto related parts.

The block looks to be something from the 1920s which probably had an aluminium crankcase.

In that case they are probably junk. I jumped to the conclusion that they matched the block and trans.

'Fraid I just can't make out much about that transmission. That could be the money there. Go get it, we will help to figure it out for you.  -  Carl
