hicamper
I have a '90 Coupe which I had the windshield replaced in about six months ago. When they replaced it, it appears they removed more than just the window. There seems to be weatherstripping missing on both sides, between the side of the windshield and the side of the door (along side of the vent windows). It appears that this weatherstripping connects to the end of the door weatherstripping next to the window. I would like to replace this if possible. Does anyone know if this is still available, what it is called in the parts catalog, and maybe a part number? Any help would be appreciated.Al
Charlie B.
Take it back to the shop that did the work, it is their responsibility to replace the missing items. And after they replace them at no cost to you, I would suggest that you never have them touch your Reatta again.Charlie B.
Guest
Sounds like you're missing a tubular/ sleeve piece that should be bonded on to the outside of the "A" Pillar. Goes on with double sided tape and seals between the Vent Glass frame and the "A" Pillar.
hicamper
Thanks for the input. I have ordered the parts from BuickReattaParts.com. Will check with the glass installer about installation and/or reparation.Al
