Very long shot

Anyone here from Milan, Ohio (Birthplace of Thomas Edison) or nearby ? Looking for name and/or contact info for a fellow who sold a '41 Olds Woodie about 10 years ago. The fellow and his wife lived among their collectibles in a restored modest factory building. Ring any bells? I told you it was a very long shot.

The town/village has a website and phone numbers. With a population of 2600 (for the whole area) probably most anyone picking up the phone could help. With privacy laws being what they are perhaps a letter would be better - addressed to either the town hall, town historian, or postmaster..... expressing interest and  giving a reason helps ....

Vermontboy is correct; in my case I addressed my letter to Postmaster, giving what details I had, asking if he/she would be kind enough to pass my contact info on, so that if my partyavailabvle she had the option of replying or not...that way PostMaster/whoever is not passing on any private info...give it a try...

I  have e-mailed the Town Council. The town sponsors a small car show every month and the fellow I'm looking for is a bit eccentric so I'm hoping he surfaces.
