I never thought of a borescope,.  Good idea!  Although I'm thinking the cylinders on this engine are probably going to need to be cleaned up a bit anyway.

I just learned about Rock Auto the other day.  Never heard of it before that.  And, yeah, I looked up the same head gasket on there and it's only $9.91 there.  MUCH BETTER!  That's more like what I was expecting it to be.   It's unbelievable that some of these other places are asking $70 for it.

In a vacuum cleaner bag! I keep telling my Wife you make a barn find by shaking out a vacuum cleaner bag on the old car in the garage. What a thought, if she does that when I'm only there in dust. She'd write in the dust with her finger. I know it.

 

I know I'm in trouble today. She hasn't been able to buy Wheaties for a few weeks. I told her "some people" were offended by the Breakfast of Champions slogan and had it removed to favor those less gifted than champions. She believed me. Later I told her I made it up.

 

Nope. My ashes will not be safe.
