George Rohrbach
I am still doing cleaning and inventory in my garage. I have these parts on a couple of shelves, and my memory is that they were all 1927-1928 Erskine. I do not need any of them for my own 1929, so I thought I would see if anyone else could use them. If there is something you see that you might be interested in, I would be glad to take a closeup pic for you. Although these pics are HD so you should be able to magnify. Ask for more info. Just make me a fair offer. I will ship only smaller items, for actual shipping cost. I can deliver parts to Hershey and Studebaker meets coming up at Dunkirk NY, and Reedsville PA. The next 4 replies from me are are more parts pics. George Rohrbach Edited July 20, 2018 by George Rohrbach (see edit history)

Janthetoolman1
I am working on a 1927 Erskine for my brother which has a bad ring and pinion. Would you happen to have a set or even the complete differential? Janthetoolman1
Bloo
Do you have a picture and do these parts interchange with any other Studebaker products? I have a late 20's (I think) Studebaker rear axle laying out in my back 40. It has been in the weather for years, so I don't know if anything would be usable. I suspect it is about a 1927 Big Six. 30DodgePanel
Do you see an oil filter like this in the parts anywhere ? If so I'd be a buyer
Janthetoolman1
These are pics of the ring and pinion that are bad. Teeth are 8 on pinion and 41 on ring. This has been apart for a year now, and I need to get it out of here. Does anyone know if something else would fit? A complete different axle? Janthetoolman1
New to this site and I apologize if I haven't followed proper protocol. I just thought that if someone was showing pictures of parts he has for sale, that I could ask him if he has certain parts. Me BAD. I'll go finish reading "Roberts Rules of Order". I just wish someone out there would help me come up with the ring and pinion gear set for a 1927 Erskine
rbk
Jan Rest assured that your question properly placed here.George is selling his hoard of 1927 Erskine parts. You can also post this question on the SDC forum or look at the Erskine registry . There are also vendors that are not computer literate and look at the magazine "parts wanted"ads in the Antique Studebaker Review or "Turning Wheels" The Studebaker swap page is an other place. This AACA site also has a "Parts Wanted" section and posting there may jar someones memory that they saw a Erskine rear end in their pile of junk. There are also vendors that specialize in rear end parts and have the books to cross reference. Your rear end was probably used in several cars so Hollander's may help you. When I get more time I will ty to post some helpful links. There is a set there somewhere. You can also contact "MR.ERSKINE" the guru at Olson gaskets. Hopes this helps pointing you in the right direction. We are here to help! http://www.olsonsgaskets.com http://www.theantiquestudebakerclub.com/reviewmag/reviewmagprimary.htm http://www.studebakerdriversclub.com/index.asp https://www.studebakerswap.com/swap/showads.php http://forums.aaca.org/forum/149-parts-wanted/ http://www.webring.org/l/rd? http://members.tripod.com/~erskine_registry/erskine.html This page is having problems but it does show up when you keep trying Edited August 3, 2018 by rbk (see edit history)

George Rohrbach
Janthetoolman1 Sorry, I don't have a ring and pinion. I also have no advice on where to find one! RBK gave you good advice on places to try. 30DodgePanel Sorry, I also don't have an oil filter. I thought I might, and checked another location, but it is a gas vacuum tank! rbk Bob, the Delco-Remy Starter is a 720-N Serial 101781. I was not able to cross the #. chris piazza I do have a lot of 1935 parts. Way to many to list. You are right that one of my projects is a 1935 Commander Roadster. I have been acquiring spares for it since 1997. I also have most of the remains of a 1935 Dictator Sedan parts car (they share a lot of parts!). Get me a list of what you might want, by regular email. georgr@ptd.net
Spinneyhill
I can find 720-Q (1929-31 Kissel 126) and 720-QX (Federal and GMC trucks). 720-T was a 1940-41 Autocar U-2044 2.5T. My data starts at 1927 and goes to 1951. Edited August 6, 2018 by Spinneyhill (see edit history)

Albtrossca
George, This thread was brought up from 2 years ago but I see some familiar parts I am in desperate need of. Do you have many of them left. There are rear axle u bolts and it looks like a bottom plate. They look similar to what mine are suppose to be. I need rear engine mounts. The big U frame looks like mine so not sure if you have the rubber mount. Let me know if you do have the parts as there might be more. George Rohrbach
I do still have most of the parts shown above, which I believe are all Erskine. That rear motor mount holder is the same as on my 1935 Dictator 2A (planar front suspension) parts car. I do have a pair (rusty from storage)of NOS Studebaker rear motor mounts (fits Model 30. 31, A, 1A and 2A)So correct fit for your 1934. I also have a one pair of NORS Doan front motor mounts. Fits same as above. So correct for your car. Let me know which of the bolts you are interested in, and I will take pics and measurements. I still have a lot of parts from the 1935 Dictator parts car. Plus some NOS, chrome that is already done, and other parts for 1934-1935. Edited January 26, 2021 by George Rohrbach (see edit history)

George Rohrbach
Tom, Erskine's used Gemmer steering set up., not Ross. I think I have a "37 and a '39 column.
