Wow this brings back memories. I can recall cars like these at a Santa's Village type place somewhere in California. I was too young to pay attention to the city but I know it was at high altitude. My grandparents took me there and I spent all day driving one of the cars. There was no center track holding the car in place, just the two outer rails to keep it from going off the ride and I was the only one that wasn't bouncing off the rails from left to right.

Hi, I'm looking for cars like yours that can be made back into amusement park car for an actual park ride. It appears that maybe that you car was modified to some some degree, do you think it could be converted back to park ride economicaly?

I’ve got 7 of them.  5 fords and 2 maxwells.  Built in 1968 by Arrow Development.  I’ve been restoring them in my leisure time.  6 of them run.  The 7th one won’t take much to get it running.  2 are red, 2 are yellow, and 3 are white.

They are from Dogpatch USA.  I’ve had them for about 5 years.  Yes, the motors are Kohler engines.

Hi Damon, how is the steering on these, pretty solid? Does the breaking work like that as in the Gould's? Actual brakes in the rear? Can you email me: gogospeedgary@yahoo.com

Thank you, Gary

I have acquired an original Avis 1964 Worlds Fair Arrow Huss car. We are in the process of restoring it. I've been trying to aquire this car for over 20 years and the gentleman finally said yes he would sell it providing that I do a full restoration on it.

I am looking for a set of fenders for the arrow 4 seater.  If anyone has an idea on where I can get some.  The guy doing the fiberglass work on the ones that came with it has disappeared along with the fenders, top, and "radiator".

What a trip down memory lane

I also rode the ones at  frontier Village and the ones at Santas village which was in Scotts Valley California nestled in the redwoods

That's a great looking car, did it come with an axle, motor, running gear?

The rear axle was there but was pretty trashed.  I already planned on switching to electric so didn't even bother with taking the rear axle
