Denver T-Bird
Any suggestions how to fix an oil leak coming out of the inlet tube back at the oil pump? I have been told it is a compression connection, I tightened the nut a little and the leak seems to have gotten worse. Thanks
tom_in_nh
Remove the tube and straighten the crimped over section. I use different diameters of sockets and a body hammer to bring the outside diameter of the tubing back into service. Do not over tighten that nut! Best of luck. 54vicky
if the line I am thinking there is or should be a rubber piece looks like a piece of hose you probably need to replace it.over tightening the fitting will just destroy pipe and nut.should be available on line usually came in gasket kits
