Is it possible to bump an ad listing to bring it back up to the top of the For Sale section?  If so how?

Just add some text to the post as if you are replying to any other thread. Just type out, "Bump to the top" or whatever else you want to say.

Which post do you want to bring up to current view?

A 1904 Pierce.  I just reduced the price but it did not come to the top.

Did you post the new price in the next reply box down or in the same box as the ad?

keiser31...all you have to do is click on the Forum Software Questions/Instructions" section.  Scroll down on the menu page and there it is.  Gets Moderator attention.

My fault - now I know where to look for guidance.  Thanks.

Supercargirl, if you merely edit your original posting,

it won't bring the thread to the top.  But as others said,

if you add a new posting to your thread--stating something

simple such as "Bump" or "Back to top" or some other

simple notice, then your thread will be at the top once more.

Sometimes sellers will add some more pictures later,

keeping the interest alive that way.

I still advise making a post in the Forum Software Questions/Software.  Have seen many posts made in the General Forum over the years where well intended people offer all sorts of advise only to totally confuse the OP.  Your call Supercargirl.

Thanks Peter.   It confounded me for the longest time. Should have realized a forum would come with directions:)  Makes sense.

I don't see what the problem is. The recent posts brought your June for sale ad to the top of the Pierce forum.

I see where you also posted it in the Cars for Sale forum 4 hours ago. With the exception of two pinned posts, that ad was on the top of that forum until a few more recent posts moved it down a few positions. The forum software is appears to be working normally.
