ronbarn
Marmon Club members going to Hershey - be sure to remember the informal gathering (meeting is really to formal) just for fun at Russ Rogers' and Clay Thomas' spaces, CN 22-23, 4:00 PM, Friday, October 11. If you are not a Club member, but like Marmons and would like to know more about our group, you are welcome.
Guest 10RA84
So, how was Hershey? Or do you hold back all the juicy stories until the next "Marmon Enquirer" appears? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/icons/wink.gif" alt="" /> Jyrki
ronbarn
Certainly there will be coverage in the next newsletter, but that will not be sent until near the end of November. The good news this year was that almost all of the spaces were on asphalt parking lots. This was good news because it rained - wet, but no mud. Unfortunately, due to the weather only a few club members made it to the meeting, about half of the ones we saw during the week. Steve and Anne Watson from the UK were there. Veniero Molari from Italy stopped by earlier and spend a couple of hours with Russ and Clay, but did not make it to the gathering. Maybe next year you and some of your group will make it.None of us found much in the way of Marmon items. The only thing I found was a radiator badge for Sally's Model L. I found a large Klaxon horn (wrong year, but lot's of noise) that I may install on the E75.Had lot's of good feedback on the Finnish Wedding story. Enquirer format was appreciated for a fun time, but will go back to normal format next issue. Give our best to all of your group, including the newlyweds.
