neatname Posted June 30, 2018 Posted June 30, 2018 Hey all, Does anyone have a preferred supplier of radiator for 1964 Riviera?
Scott Mckenzie Posted June 30, 2018 Posted June 30, 2018 Because I wanted the original radiator I chose to have mine re-cord. Any good Rad shop will be able to perform this task and it looks original. 2
TexRiv_63 Posted June 30, 2018 Posted June 30, 2018 Try U.S. Radiator, they can supply original design with optional high efficiency cores: http://www.usradiator.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=buick+riviera+1964 1

DualQuadDave Posted July 1, 2018 Posted July 1, 2018 I have a local shop who recores the original tanks. It's the best I have seen yet and works amazing. I just put in a US rad in a 65 GS and it came with free pin holes in the top tank, lol. PM me, will help you out. 2
John Henry Posted July 15, 2018 Posted July 15, 2018 I work in a little shop in Eastern Washington and all day everyday I'm either rebuilding or recording every kind of radiator imaginable, from old Ford's from the 20's & 30's to tractor radiators. Also rebuild and record bolt together for the peterbilts and freightliners. Never knew what I was doing mattered much just figured I'm taking something old and resoldering everything and making it look pretty again. Old heater cores, we rebuild and recores those too. If you need some work done I'm always available to talk

flh73 Posted July 16, 2018 Posted July 16, 2018 I bought new unit from CARS. Price was comparable to recore but NEW. Nice piece, i did however give the core area a little extra love in the paint department but probably not necessary. 1
