lancemb Posted June 28, 2018 Posted June 28, 2018 Really cool car in cool color combo. Note the factory AC AND rear speaker. Also note the speaker knob is not a pointy one. Maybe pointy version was not original, or not used throughout model year?? https://m.ebay.com/itm/1955-Buick-Super-Model-52/223035592336?_trkparms=aid%3D111001%26algo%3DREC.SEED%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D52967%26meid%3D84c0eefa7ea04bf0a17bdfe4eff54b3c%26pid%3D100675%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D15%26sd%3D223035592336%26itm%3D223035592336&_trksid=p2481888.c100675.m4236&_trkparms=pageci%3A63e5edab-7acc-11e8-8d73-74dbd180033c|parentrq%3A464e3e4f1640aad71d50c096fff808ef|iid%3A1
NC-car-guy Posted June 28, 2018 Posted June 28, 2018 Wow looks like all the A/C stuff is there. Whats the number on the radiator support?
Kosage Chavis Posted June 28, 2018 Posted June 28, 2018 LOL! It would be nice to casually pull 2500 out of the bank. I see the rear speaker, but I can hardly make out the switch and knob.

60FlatTop Posted June 29, 2018 Posted June 29, 2018 I would buy that for anyone who would sign a binding contract for me to do the service required to make it a reliable and presentable car to drive to cruise nights. That melanoma on the sun facing surfaces reminds me of a trip I took to the Pomona Swap Meet back in the 1990's. The say Cook County is officially in Illinois, but, in my mind, Cooked County will always be East LA. Even under fresh paint the pits in those sun bleached areas showed through. They are deep. And I remember all the rubber being hard as rock. That Buick in Tuscon looks like the southern California cars I remember. At the time I was doing energy audits for Xerox. They had locations in El Segundo and San Jose. Just a hick from backwoods New York, I saw the weather data and wondered what the heck happened in that 150 miles! Looking at that car does bring back a lot of memories. I made a few trips out there. Bernie

This confuses me... you want a contract to do the restoration or you want a contract saying it will be restored to your standard of cruise-night presentation, but not by you.

He's not even sure it's in the glove compartment...where he thinks it is. Edited June 29, 2018 by Kosage Chavis (see edit history) 1

NC-car-guy Posted July 4, 2018 Posted July 4, 2018 (edited) It just got reduced! Edited July 4, 2018 by wndsofchng06 (see edit history)
