auburnseeker
I came across this brochure I listed on Ebay tonight. I was surprised when taking pictures of pages to find a page for door edge guards for the 1970 Monte Carlo Convertible. I wonder if they corrected the page in a later issue of the brochure? I don't think I have ever come across anything quite like that in all the literature I have had over the years. Did GM actually think about building one? The last photo should show the form number. I'm not sure if this is the late or early version.
cheezestaak2000
the early monte carlo owner's manuals had instructions for convert. top operation, but to my knowledge, they never made one.
George Smolinski
No, according to "The Standard Catalog of American Cars 1946 - 1975". The Chevelle convertible top is a perfect fit for the Monte & there have been conversions done, but not factory or dealer conversions.
