I'll pass this along.  I learned about it on the Corvette Forum.  Their example was made from a pool noodle.  I used a scrap piece of pipe insulation.  This prevents the Reatta door from putting dents in  the car that is parked next to it in the garage.

I have a parking space that is 13 ft wide but there is a brick wall on one side and a cement block wall on the other.

I can park the car offset so I can open one door fully but to be safe,  I put a bumper on both walls.

I used a full length of the foam tube (they are 5 or 6 ft)  then installed a piece of 1/2 inch PVC pipe inside.

by heating the PVC ends I could flatten them ....drill a hole in the end and screw them to the wall,  it sags slightly in the middle but the doors don't hit the walls.
