Owner Manual for a 1914 Buick - Fuel System questions

1914 Buick Fuel System

I need some help in  understanding the fuel line form the fuel tank to the carburetor.

I believe that there was a shut off valve that went up through the floor to a shut off valve. 

Can any one help me with the correct routing of that fuel line?

 

Also can any one help me locate an owner manual for the vehicle? (If there was on back then)

I have both a 1914 Reference Book and a 1914 Price List of Parts for Models C24 & C25 cars.  There is precious little useful information in the Reference Book. 

The parts book does have drawings of most parts of the car with part numbers, but it has nothing on the fuel system.
