oldford Posted June 7, 2018 Share Posted June 7, 2018 It looks like a NY Thruway plate. The Thruway is the name of Interstate 87 and 90 that goes from NYC to Buffalo. Still has tolls, but in the '60s you could buy a plate from Motor Vehicles that gave you passage either without tolls or with reduced tolls, I can't remember which.
