'60 401 Oil leak

Hiya all,

I have a '60 401 that has developed an oil leak where the engine oil filter mount meets the engine block itself. We tried tightening the bolts, but it kept seeping out. My question is this: Is there a gasket between the mount piece and the block? I can't see one, but I coudln't tell if it was maybe a paper type gasket, or maybe some kind of high pressure sealer would do it? Any help would be great. Thanks.

My 364 has a VERY thin paper gasket there. When I assembled the engine I did not use any sealer (there) and it doesn't leak a drop. It is a pretty easy fix if you can get the gasket, and if there isn't a more serious problem, like a crack or stripped threads.
