Summershandy
Last summer when I started my restore, I soaked the oil filler cap and outlet in a degreaser a couple days to clean the wire gauze inside. Pretty black of course. I'm just starting to put everything back now and when I attached the outlet pipe it was a little tight as I had painted it. I gave it a tap on the work bench and some dirt came out. I continued to tap it and I must have gotten about 3 cups of dirt! I fired up the air compressor and gave it a bunch of shots and taps until no more dirt came out. I couldn't believe how much dirt that thing was holding. Glad I noticed and just wanted to share.
