Opinion=Is the OLD Reatta air-bag safe?-

You do not want to get hit on the face with an ''AIR-BAG'' that has been in a car for almost 30 years

You don't have a lot of options.

No new replacements are available.

You leave it as is or unplug it

I was hit head on in my '90 about 2 years ago.  All I can is, the airbag deployed and did its job.  The car was totaled but I was able to walk away.

According to my wise and experienced mechanic....YES, they are safe.  Case closed.  Thats all you have to remember.  Happy Reatta miles to you and all!
