Guest Posted September 17, 2002 Share Posted September 17, 2002 Well the water pump was straight forward and with all of this out of the way I thought I would change the faulty oil pressure sending unit. Read post to get a replacement. The orginal [ones] read bad......I got a hand full at the bone yard from a batch of 3.8's and when I hooked them up oil pressure was at [0]. Stated the motor and all went to MAX 155 pressure........WHATS UP??????? I finally had to re-install the orginal as it only reads bad once in a while....Hate to spend the $30+ quoated at the parts store........Ken Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Don B. Posted September 17, 2002 Share Posted September 17, 2002 The Reatta sender is for a guage. Most other 3800's use a oil lite.So you go from a varible switch to an on/off switch .
