67 camaro convertible question

Recommended Posts

I have a 67 camaro RS convertible that I recently bought. It has been restored but not put back together. I was wondering is there any way I can tell for sure if this car was a manual top or power top from factory. It did not come with any power top parts but was just trying to make sure I am right. Thank you

There should be a "trim tag" or "body tag" riveted to the firewall by the master cylinder, if someone has not taken it.

On the tag, in the left column, is the trim number for the car.

If there was a factory "power top" installed, there will be the letter "D" just below the trim number.
